Poliform at New York's ICFF
08/07/2014
Last May Poliform attended ICFF in New York, an absolutely unmissable international event, being one of the US's largest design shows, thanks to which every year new trends are launched and the new boundaries of the industry are masterfully sketched.
Poliform showcased an artistic project specially developed for the occasion, where the cross-contamination of food and design is evidenced by the new Poliform Varenna kitchen proposals, on display during the event at Poliform's New York showroom.
At the same time, Henry Hargreaves - a young artist and photographer from New Zealand - interpreted the design of the latest Poliform products designed by Jean-Marie Massaud to give rise to an enthralling and fun mixture of experiences.
Against this backdrop, the most original culinary compositions were crafted, including a stunning portrait of Jean-Marie Massaud made with a few slices of toast, canvases depicting armchairs, chairs and other furniture items, using all sorts of colorful foods of doubtless visual impact.
Among these zany creations made of coloured jelly and wording composed using dry fruit are particularly significant in conveying the message that food has a convivial role to play in that it brings people together, promoting social interaction and mental wellbeing.
