Hakofugu light by Artemide

Hakofugu is a suspension light designed by Issey Miyake and part of Artemide's IN-EI lamp collection.

Its off-kilter geometrical shape produces shadows using 2D and 3D mathematical principles, and illuminates each unique fold and edge for a fascinating interplay of shadow and light. Made from an original technique invented by Issey Miyake himself.

Hakofugu's peculiar folds create striking sculptural shapes, while lending strength to the structure; these folds are in a fabric made from recycled material that yields a higher degree of brightness than paper.
