Cadmo lamp by Artemide

The Cadmo lamp was designed by Karim Rashid for Artemide; it is an elegant and shapely floor lamp with a strong personality.

It stands at 174cm and a fine sheet of steel throws soft light onto the ceiling and creates diffused lighting, that is also emitted from two halogen light sources - one for indirect and one for diffused lighting - that can be regulated separately

In the black version the vertical aperture of the lamp stands out thanks to the stark contrast against the brighter white inside: the body is made of lacquered steel with cover-base in lacquered stainless steel. In the glass version the body is in mouth-blown glass, with cover-base in painted inox-steel.
