The Archibald armchair designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau is an icon of style endowed with a timeless allure.

Archibald embodies a new concept of armchair, and its forms express a purity and elegance that earned it Wallpaper's prestigious "Best domestic design" award in 2010.

Its enveloping and original design is exalted by the free play of folds that the hand-processed leather creates across the backrest. The frame of the backrest and seat is in steel with polyurethane foam padding, moulded, expanded and shaped with polyester wadding.

Springiness is obtained from elastic belts and the feet are in cast aluminium and tubular steel with a gunmetal grey finishing. The upholstery of the shell is in Pelle Frau leather.
