Fato by Artemide is a lamp designed in the Sixties by Gio Ponti and is an icon of style with timeless appeal.

A table or wall lamp in white enamelled plate cut with laser machines and then folded and welded, it has a very original shape with geometrical metal screens, creating light and shade all enclosed within a square frame which can be hung on the wall or just placed on a surface.

It not only has the dual purpose of a lamp and a display case but it is also a lighting sculpture with connotations typical of the Sixties.
