Poltrona Frau wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2019 with Coupé Bed

The Coupé bed, designed for Poltrona Frau by Italian-Danish duo GamFratesi, has won the prestigious Archiproducts Design Awards 2019.

Judged and chosen by an international jury panel, the winning entries from a selection of designer products stood out for their unique concept and represent the excellence in creativity, technology and research.

The Coupé bed was recognized as the best of the category, standing out for its concept and design, which centers on the relationship between the headboard and the bed frame: two distinct geometric forms which, while maintaining their individuality, meet harmoniously in a subtle game of balance and power that exalts the fluid and compact lines of the overall design.

Its clean and clear-cut aerodynamic lines, which are completely covered by hand with soft Pelle Frau® leather, only add to the bed's exclusivity.

The end result is the crowning of an intimate and comfortable space designed for two, for those very special moments of complete rest and relaxation.
