Riva1920 is to take part in the fourth edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano. Shanghai to be held from 20th to 22nd November 2019 in the prestigious location of the Shanghai Exhibition Center (SEC).
The company, which is set to pass another important milestone marking one hundred years in the business, shall showcase to the Chinese public its collection of solid wood furnishings: the perfect synthesis of craftsmanship, stylistic research and innovation, while keeping a keen eye on factors such as sustainability and natural living.
The exhibition will be the showplace for unveiling new products such as the Pandora Glass and Cambusa Evo sideboards, along with the Shang table, designed specifically for the Chinese market, combined with Cloe chairs displayed in red velvet upholstery to mark this special occasion.
Among the slew of new items let us include the Notch bookcase system, designed by Neri and Hu, alongside the Materia Soft padded chair, the Tiny Earth table and the Geppo Pet stool, specifically designed to accommodate small pets.
Timeless icons will also be on display, such as the Venice console, made with wood crafted from the mooring posts (called by Venetians briccole) used in the Venice Lagoon, the Molletta bench in scented cedar wood and the Cube table, fitted with an ancient Kauri wood top dating back 50,000 years.
A large space will be dedicated to the Authentic Living collection, created in collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini and designed by Karim Rashid.
All in all, this highly ambitious undertaking will allow the company to expand to the Far East market, offering products designed to attract a clientele in search of long-lasting, luxury solutions while still guaranteeing sustainability and respect for nature.
