Introduced into the Flexform catalog in 2004, the Peter armchair designed by Antonio Citterio immediately displayed light-hearted charm and a natural inclination to step outside the indoor arena and make its way to a patio or the deck of a yacht.

And it is precisely by following this natural tendency that this year Flexform has decided to work on its iconic armchair to fulfill its penchant for the great outdoors.

In fact, it is being brought back in an outdoor version with thoroughly vetted materials and finishes chosen for their exceptional outdoor performance.

The entire structure is made of austenitic stainless steel 316, a particular type of steel that features an excellent combination of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

Also available with epoxy powder-coated white, khaki green, wine red or burnished finish, the chair lends itself perfectly to customization.

The seat and backrest are upholstered with a light yet sturdy woven material made of polypropylene fiber or polyurethane rubber in an elegant color palette that ranges from earth tones to burgundy and olive green.

The Peter Outdoor armchair can be paired with its matching namesake footstool and also has an optional seat cushion that is available upon request.

The elegant X-design formed by the two curved metal legs lends the Peter Outdoor armchair an air of refined yet understated elegance, perfect for enjoying moments of relaxation outdoors.
