Knoll Textiles Launches brand-new Bonjour Collection
02/03/2018
Knoll's textile business unit has launched "Bonjour" - a brand-new Paris-inspired hospitality focused collection.
Presented in New York, the collection includes 4 tapestries, a wide-width blackout drapery and 2 interwoven wall coverings.
The first tapestry, called "Arrondissment", expresses a bold style with a decidedly graphic and architectural look, which intentionally evokes in the drawings, a map that outlines the 20 districts or "Arrondissements" of Paris. Specifically, the design consists of embroideries and pays tribute to the urban structure of the Parisian city.
The second tapestry, "Textural Seurat" suggests the pointillist aesthetic of the upholstery's namesake, post-Impressionist painter Georges-Pierre Seurat.
The third, "Oh La La" is a 100% polyester velvet in 14 colors with a 'très chic' dry hand.
The last tapestry, "Woodland" owes its popularity to a winning combination of allover organic pattern on a neutral ground plus performance. Since it first launched in 2016, this upholstery is now available in 6 new colors for a total of 14.
"Bon Nuit" is KnollTextiles' first true 3-pass blackout drapery. This wide-width drapery has a beautiful suede hand and superior drape-ability. Inherently flame resistant and IMO certified, Bon Nuit is available in 15 standard colors.
Grand Boulevard and Arena are the 2 woven wallcoverings in the Bonjour Collection. Grand Boulevard has a unique striated horse hair-like appearance while Arena is a classic woven with performance built in, which adapts very easily to any type of environment.
Clearly, Bonjour is a wonderful opportunity to kick off the year with impactful upholsteries, a high performance velvet and other elements of exclusive elegance.
