Double by Flexform featured in Wallpaper*

The Double table, designed by Antonio Citterio for Flexform, was photographed by the prestigious Wallpaper* magazine and features in its October issue.

It belongs to a range of tables with a steel structure and boasting a twin shelf (hence the name DOUBLE), and the project plays on the diversity of materials used for the two shelves.

This allows to create a wide range of configuration options as starkly different materials may be paired together, such as solid wood and marble, or solid and lacquered wood in many soft shades.

Likewise, the use of the countertop is also doubled up. In fact, it can be used for storing books and bric-à-brac on the lower surface or make itself useful as a side table on the upper surface.
