Kartell works with designer Paula Cademartori

Always with an eye open on the latest trends, Kartell continues its partnership with major fashion names, such as designer Paula Cademartori, with whom it has presented its truly exclusive Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

It all started in October 2016 with #EnjoyTheFrontRow, a project launched by Milan's famous fashion store Rinascente. The initiative centered around a five-day frenzy of fashion shows and events featuring a hand-picked selection of fashion brands.

On that very occasion Kartell and Paula Cademartori first established contact, and then proceeded to turn the first floor showroom into a flamboyant tropical forest dominated by the bright colours and large plants.

Henceforth, the collaboration between the two brands continues up to this latest project: a line of Spring and Summer accessories, evoking some of the different concepts of the Kartell collection.

The concept of the collection, whose proposed items include sandals and handbags, is based on a fresh and contemporary tropical mood, with strong use of bright colours and vivid shades.

The absolute star of the entire collection is the exotic nature of the Botanical Garden in Rio de Janeiro, a veritable tropical paradise in the heart of the Brazilian city.

And so the delicate hues of the orchids and bromeliads and the vibrant shades of the many species of butterflies and toucans in the garden become the source of inspiration for this playful collection, bringing to life a fun and definitely feminine style.
