Knoll launches the new fabric collection Signature

Knoll's textile division has launched its new fabric collection known as the Signature Collection.
The Collection showcased a number of unique weaves, which are partly based on pre-existing yarns from the Company's vintage archives.
Their names are Alter Ego, Feeling Plaid and Little Devil, and the 3 models are based on Knoll's vintage collections dating back to 1947, a perfect opportunity for showing a bit of the Brand's glorious history. Ten new colors and choice of covers have been added to the range.
Out of all the above, Alter Ego is the fabric that represents the highest degree of complexity in terms of sheer workmanship..
Indeed, Alter Ego is based on multiple archives including a 1947 textural solid designed by Toni Prestini, and Suzanne Huguenin's Knoll Nylon Homespun (1965) and Executive Tweed.
From sheep to loom, Alter Ego can be said to be 100% American wool upholstery. It is created through a craft process that blends up to 6 unique colors of wool fibers to create the multidimensional yarns used then in the upholstery.
A final finishing process completes the fabric by creating a soft luster and hand. Alter Ego available in 20 colors.
