Important upcoming anniversaries for a number of Riva1920 furnishings

For Riva1920, 2017 is a year full of very important goals.

In fact this year is when it celebrates some of the most important anniversaries of a number of furniture pieces that have become to all intents veritable design icons.

Among the various "birthdays" the brand is celebrating the tenth anniversary of NATURA (designed by C.R. & S. 2007), a table made from a solid wood top with glued boards, with squared or natural edges in combination with iron legs characterized by double sheet metal semi-folded in the shape of a rhombus.

No less important is the solid wood chair MAUI (designed by TERRY DWAN, 2007) that always celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

Made of fine wood scented cedar wood and carved out of a single block of wood, Maui is actually a sculptural monolith with a curvilinear and sinuous shape.

In addition to its unusual design, characterized by the peculiar concentric circles of the cedar trunk section, its main feature is surely also the comfortable ergonomic seat, which gives the chair an added value. Available in the version with or without natural steel swivel base with tubular leg and iron plate, Maui is definitely one of a kind.

Both pieces are made of solid wood and are completely natural and hand-finished, without other treatments and, therefore, the two furnishings are fully in keeping with the Brand's mission to make natural wood its flagship material of choice.

To celebrate their anniversary, this year both furniture items will be branded with a special identification label with the wording "Icon".
