Poltrona Frau decorates the Roma Convention Center – La Nuvola

Roma Convention Center – La Nuvola is an international venue that aims to represent a new standard of reference for the conference sector, which houses an 1800-seat auditorium.

Poltrona Frau was called upon to provide seating for the auditorium, in the shape of the Carla chair designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas.

The armchair represents a further addition to the wide range of seating models for theatres, concert halls and auditoria that Poltrona Frau has created over the years through its contract section.

Specifically designed by the creative duo for the new conference centre in Rome, Carla stands out for its simple geometry and slender profile.

Based on two surfaces that intersect and rotate in space, the seat resembles a geometric flower that opens up smoothly and discretely to envelop the spectator.
