One of the more original features of Flexform creations are the 100% handmade leather weaves in many of its furnishing items.

Leather braiding is an ancient art form that is best performed by expert craftsmen using time-honored techniques.

The most significant examples of this technique are in sofas Cestone and Happy, with a backrest in thinly braided leather, in the pouf Bangkok with suede leather weaves and in the Helen series with shiny leather braids.

Aside from the seating solutions, precious handmade leather braiding also adorns a few tables; first and foremost coffee table Tindari with its 180 meters of woven hide wrapped around the steel structure: a technical feat that no machine is able to do but can only be done by skilled hands.
