The latest from Poltrona Frau: straight from Cologne
26/01/2016
Great success for the Poltrona Frau display at IMM Cologne, the international furniture show that draw to a close last Sunday 24th January.
The space designed by Michele De Lucchi depicts the Poltrona Frau home, a place where rooms are perfectly in tune with the colours and materials, and where the layout suggests different areas for sharing and contemplation.
The main features here were neutral shades of grey and beige with touches of burgundy, and large corner compositions in the living room areas.
Indeed, this elegantly styled home with its handicraft touches became the setting for the latest additions to the Poltrona Frau collection.
These include the new Saddle Extra leather upholstery for the Aida armchair designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, and available in a fixed or swivel model allows for a 360° rotation.
Next are the Montera stool by Roberto Lazzeroni with column base and height-adjustable seat, and Bob, the evergreen coffee table by Jean-Marie Massaud, now available also with the top in marble Calacatta Oro and in Canaletto walnut wood.
Finally, new upholsteries for Massimosistema were shown: these now also come in Pelle Frau® Safari. With its clearly visible grain, this leather is strong and full-bodied yet exceptionally soft.
