In its transformation from raw material to unique, exclusive item Wood is the star of the Eataly showpiece, where 3 Mollette benches from the Riva1920 collection are on display.

The benches are made from precious cedar wood and created for Riva1920 by designers Baldessari & Baldessari.

As a material that binds the history of mankind with the very own history of this world, wood is certainly a great subject to explore in all its variety, and this exhibition proves it can be done in the best way, i.e. undertaking a journey from raw material to its uses in the most varied forms of living and design.
