Poltrona Frau opens up shop in Naples

A new Poltrona Frau showroom opens up today in Naples. Located in a central street in the heart of the city, the store is spread over two floors for about 180 square meters altogether.
The furniture showroom mirrors the typical relaxed attitude and elegance of all Poltrona Frau outlets, and is characterized by giant billboards of furnishings declined in pure white and a wide-ranging gallery of images from the world of craftsmanship.
To make the atmosphere even more exclusive, cue the impressively extensive "library of leather and hide" specially designed to learn more in detail about the reasons for Poltrona Frau's long-standing leadership in processing soft leather by displaying the finest workmanship on the market.
About 50 types of leather and hide are displayed on a minimalistic wall-mounted grid, all carefully folded and offered in the most innovative hues from a color range extending to an impressive 177 tones.
Absolute stars of the presentation are obviously the best sellers from the Poltrona Frau collection: from the more iconic to the more contemporary items.
The official inauguration of the space will take place tonight with an event called "Making Masterpieces", during which a Poltrona Frau craftsman will show with safe and precise movements how to assemble an iconic model such as the Chester armchair from 1912.
It will be a fascinating and unique way to tell the public about the story of the high degree of craftsmanship that has characterized Poltrona Frau for over a century, thanks to which today the brand can be defined as a benchmark and a beacon for furniture making excellence in many countries of the world.
