Riva1920 hosts the exhibition "Reuse: Nutrition for Planet"

The no-profit association P.E.N.T.A of Mariano Comense (Como) has promoted a contest by the name REUSE: NUTRITION FOR PLANET, whose theme is to create and display designer artworks, applied art, and installations, using recycled and other post-consumer materials.

Hence the name "Reuse: Nutrition for Planet" which contains in itself a truth whose importance cannot be overstated: if done responsibly and consistently, the act of creating can actually be a way of protecting the environment, to the point of becoming "food for the planet". This claim is a clear reference to the themes of this year's Expo 2015 currently underway in Milan.

Riva 1920 has always been very sensitive to the issue of recycling and environmental protection, and has decided to prove its support by hosting the exhibition along with the competing art projects in the building of the Museo del Legno_Showroom in Cantù.

The official opening was held on Saturday, June 6, and the award ceremony will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20th at 9pm, where refreshments will be served to the attending public.
