Poliform and Studio Daniel Libeskind established a professional relationship about a year ago and precisely since this year's Salone Del Mobile in Milan.

This partnership has so far yielded three pieces that represent a perfect blend of pure design and functionality: Sharp Kitchen, Sharp Closet, and Web Bookcase.

Especially the latter, designed entirely by Daniel Libeskind for Poliform, is the perfect portrait of modern life.

Its name is no coincidence, in fact just as the Internet allows users to browse the web and access scores of content that is connected by link to other web pages, WEB - with its alternating blocks and voids - presents a brand new bookcase concept where each element is connected to another in a functional way and with a contemporary feel.

Made entirely of Dupont Corian, a sturdy and innovative material, Web is the expression of a stylish and functional way to interpret contemporary living.

WEB Bookcase is also the star attraction of the private reception hosted by Poliform Miami store on December 5th, 6-9pm, with special guest Daniel Libeskind.

The event will be showcasing the limited edition WEB Bookcases for the first time in the USA.

Two WEB bookcases will be on display at the showroom starting the week of November 24th; bids will be accepted in a silent auction at Poliform Miami showroom.

The winning bids are to be announced during the reception on December 5th. All the proceeds will benefit the Institute of Contemporary Art of Miami (ICA).
